Rural Woman Participation in Some the Agricultural Production Activities in Assiut Governorate

Abstract
This research aims to determining respondents participation degree in the agriculturalproduction activities (plant production activities, animal & poultry production activities and food manufacturing activities), identifying on significant differences in respondents participation degree in the agriculturalproduction activities according to differences of their studied independent variables, and determining the relationship between respondents participation degree of agriculturalproduction activities and their studied independent variables. The research was conducted on a random sample of 215 respondents in three villages in Assiut governorate. Data were collected by questionnaire forms during the period from December 2021 to February 2022. Frequencies, percentages, weighted mean, Pearson correlation, Spearman rank order correlation coefficient, and X² test were used for data presentation and analysis. Research result the showed that respondents participation degree in the agriculturalproduction activities were medium of the 62.8% in plant production activities, 67.4% in animal & poultry production activities, 51.6% in food manufacturing activities. Significant differences in respondents participation degree in plant production activities according to differences of family type. Significant positive correlation between respondents participation degree in plant production activities and area of agricultural possession, animal possession, poultry possession. Significant negative correlation between respondents participation degree in plant production activities and the education level of respondents, the education level of husband. Significant positive correlation between respondents participation degree in animal & poultry production activities and poultry possession, family members' number. Significant positive correlation between respondents participation degree in food manufacturing activities and animal possession.
